What role will you play?
As a Cyber Threat Defence Analyst, you will be responsible for detecting, identifying, triaging, and mitigating threats and risks in our global cyber environment. You will also act to ensure that Macquarie’s digital estate is protected from threats both known and unknown.
What you offer
- 5+ years of relevant security or operational experience in large enterprise environments, working across a large range of technologies
- Experience in Splunk (or any other large SIEM tool), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform, Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response platform (SOAR)
- Knowledge of email gateway security controls and understanding of how to chase actors beyond these tools
- Ability to analyze emails (e.g reading and understanding email headers, infrastructure)
- Knowledge and experience decoding and deciphering malicious code
- Strong analytical mindset and offensive security/adversarial mindset
